Getting VPS IP via GRE tunnel on Proxmox with PPPoE host

Hello,

I have installed Proxmox and successfully configured PPPoE. My host IP is assigned via PPPoE, and I want to get an IP for my VPS through a GRE tunnel from Noez. How can I do this? I have already tried this guide: Proxmox Server mit GRE but it didn’t work. Does anyone have a similar setup?

Hi, I would recommend you to setup a opnsense or mikrotik router with the PPPoE connection virtualized to two vmbrs - one just the lan, other flexip.

I have posted a tutorial with a how-to for mikrotik as you dont need to have the public ip assigned to the router.
